Award Celebration
Each year's annual Award Celebration will be held in an attractive
location - generally in Palm Beach County, Florida.
In 2026, the celebration will be the weekend of January 17-18
(MLK Day weekend).
- Hotel, transportation, and meals for the winner – and 1 guest – is paid for by the Parr Prize
- Award reception and dinner, on the Saturday night, at a historic location
- Actual Shakespeare Folios of 1632, 1664, and 1685 will be onsite for study and discussion
- A salon discussion, about Shakespeare and excellent teaching practices, will take place on either Saturday or Sunday morning
- Teachers will each be presented with Parr Prize money and a plaque in their honor at the awards ceremony
